AT&T launches the Samsung SGH-A657, a rugged candy-bar mobile phone that meets military-spec standards for dust, shock, vibration, rain, humidity as well as altitude and temperature extremes. The phone supports 3G/HSDPA network, GPS navigation, Bluetooth, and microSD cards.
