In addition to new notebooks, Gateway is also releasing new desktop PC line ups, including the FX series value gaming system, DX series multimedia PC and GT work and play PCs.
Gateway’s FX series (FX4710) is for gaming. It is powered by an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 processor, up to 6GB of RAM and an over-clocked NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT graphic card.
Gateway offers DX4710 and DX4200 for the DX series. DX4710 is equipped with Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600, and 6GB of memory. It comes with a 22-inch widescreen display. DX4200, on the other hand, is powered by an AMD Phenom 9500 64-bit Quad-Core processor, 6GB RAM and ATI Radeon HD 3450 Hybrid Graphics.
Finally, the GT series is powered by AMD’s Triple-Core or Quad-Core processor, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics and 4GB of RAM. [ Read Full Entry ]
