Panasonic Toughbook CF-74 Semi-rugged Centrino 2 Notebook

Panasonic announced upgrades to its Toughbook CF-74. Panasonic’s Toughbook CF-74 will get the latest Intel Centrino 2 technology offering 160GB storage capacity and WiFi 802.11 Draft-N connectivity.

The mobile workhorse Toughbook CF-74 features a 13.3-inch LCD display, optical drive, SD card slot, optional EV-DO or HSDPA, optional Bluetooth and optional fingerprint reader.

Both CF-74 and CF-52 will be available in August. The CF-74 starts at street price of $3,199 while the CF-52 will comes in two configurations, value (estimated street price of $1,949) or premium for improved video and system performance (estimated street price of $2,849).
