  1. This software pops up on my computer. I do not want it and did not ask for it. How do I get rid of it? It tells me I have some sort of invasion but Norton says I’m safe.

  2. Remove PCPrivacyCleaner files & dlls files

    pcpc.exe,
    PCPC_Setup_Free[1].exe
    Uninstall PCPrivacyCleaner.lnk
    PCPrivacyCleaner.lnk
    PCPrivacyCleaner
    pcprivacycleaner.lnk

    Remove/Modify corrupt Registry Entries

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run pcprivacycleaner
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\pcprivacycleaner lastscantime
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\pcprivacycleaner installdate
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\pcprivacycleaner cookieparams
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\pcprivacycleaner\schedule
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\pcprivacycleaner totalscancount
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\pcprivacycleaner activationcode
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\pcprivacycleaner

  3. The pchsvc.dll will replicate undesired files when running XP in it’s normal mode and also in Safe Mode.
    You may have difficulty removing the pchsvc.dll (access denied)
    Start your PC in safe mode with a command prompt
    At C:\windows\ del pchealth *.* this will allow the removal of the pchsvc.dll without restriction
